The MYstic

I‘ve always been enthralled by the wide sweeping questions of life. What is a soul? Where do we go when we die? What is the purpose of pain, and better yet, why do people stay satiated in it? How much of what we intuitively feel is from this lifetime at all?

A brief stint in teaching secondary education and 13 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker later, I am still asking the same questions. This time though, my personal and clinical experience in working with individuals in the trenches of their darkness has given me a more divine valley to walk through. Shadow work is divine work and it’s where I belong. In tearing asunder the layers of my Self [Self with a capital ‘S’], I have discovered a great interest in depth psychology founded in my belief that we are all spiritual beings in human bodies. There will always be a place for more cerebral interventions in the therapy space, but I have found my soul’s roots in the spiritual work that attends to the Soul above all else.

Today I support others to build a healthy ego and find their soul underneath the noise of that same ego. I help people integrate the soul and the ego by liberating themselves from unwarranted conditioning, being curious of the shadows that hide their most sacred parts, and stepping into their soul’s authentic expression.

The Visionary

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with training in marriage and family therapy and an orientation to depth psychology, also referred to as the psychology of the soul, and transpersonal psychology, which explores the connection between spirituality and consciousness. I utilize a strengths based, psychodynamic approach in my work with clients. Together we explore the depths of Self to uncover unconscious and conditioned limiting beliefs, bringing them to the surface and releasing the constraints that distance us from living fully and freely.

I believe that each person holds an innate worth and capacity to embrace a life that feels deeply resonant, one that reflects their truest essence and fosters a profound sense of meaning and purpose.

My desire is to help each client live a life in alignment with their soul’s most expansive and authentic expression of self. I am lovingly haunted by Mary Oliver’s line “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” and it guides my own personal lived experience as well as my work with clients.

I’m so grateful to those who helped me reconnect to my wholeness during my own difficult seasons and would be honored to help support you in yours.
