$250 per session
I believe few things are actually black and white - truly binary - except maybe this one thing:
We are always either moving toward fear or toward love. It is that simple.
The ending of a committed partnership is almost unavoidably a dark night of the soul
experience. Inherent in that is a cracking open of what has long been protected and guarded,
wounded many times and scabbed over. This is an opportunity to excavate and integrate, to
explore our patterns and bring them with curiosity and compassion into the light of day. In
the face of hurt, pain, fear, sadness, and grief, to hold ourselves and one another with
reverence, and respect, and to carve out hope for a different version of our future dynamic
together. In this framework I support couples in releasing their romantic relationship and
attachments while oftentimes reorienting to one another as co-parents and partners in a
new sense. For couples who are parents of children it can be helpful to consider that your
family is not breaking up, but rather changing form. While painful, for many people, myself
included, the uncoupling process is often a catalyst to mid-life awakening. It shakes you. It
rattles you. It also liberates you if you choose to allow it.
Insurance is not accepted for uncoupling work at this time. The fee is $250 per session and is collected in full prior to the first session. The total investment is $1,500.
This uncoupling practice is designed to support you in 90-minute sessions over a period of six consecutive weeks. The uncoupling process is a five-step process.
Couples therapy is ongoing (typically weekly) work that lasts for extended durations of time. This work is meant to focus on a very specific set of goals. It is highly directed and focused with very little room for deviation. I highly recommend when possible that couples attend individual therapy in conjunction with uncoupling work.
